The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of URSUS S.A. through the development of a new, innovative construction of the agricultural tractor in two functional-use variants (24x24 and 32x32).     Głównym celem projektu jest wzrost konkurencyjności firmy URSUS S.A. poprzez opracowanie nowej, innowacyjnej konstrukcji układu jezdnego (transmisji) ciągnika rolniczego w dwóch wariantach funkcjonalno-użytkowych (24x24 oraz 32x32). W wyniku przeprowadzonych prac rozwojowych konstrukcji nastąpi wdrożenie do produkcji ciągnika marki URSUS nowej serii w zakresie mocy od 100 KM do 160 KM do 31.12.2018 roku.Cel główny projektu zostanie osiągnięty realizację celów szczegółowych, obejmujących całokształt prac rozwojowych, dzięki czemu poziom gotowości technologicznej TRL projektu, z obecnego VI poziomu, osiągnie poziom IX TRL.Cele szczegółowe projektu:1. Opracowanie zintegrowanego elektronicznego systemu sterowania przekładni w wersji 32x32 power shift-power shuttle. 2. Opracowanie i aplikacja programów badań trwałościowych oraz ich realizacja dla systemów przeniesienia mocy w wersji 24x24 Synchromesh i wersji 32x32 Power.3. Eksploatacyjne badanie funkcjonalności obiektu w warunkach rzeczywistych.4. Dopracowanie konstrukcji układu przeniesienia mocy z uwzględnieniem wyników badań i dostosowanie do warunków technologii wytwarzania.Transmisja jest jednym z najważniejszych układów mechanicznych każdego ciągnika, a od jej trwałości i efektywnego funkcjonowania zależą możliwości wykorzystania maszyny rolniczej. W chwili obecnej przedsiębiorstwo URSUS S.A. w procesie produkcyjnym ciągników wykorzystuje transmisje ZF Friedrichshafen AG. Rezultatem projektu będzie innowacyjna transmisja własnej konstrukcji wykorzystana przy budowie własnych ciągników rolniczych.
