Celem głównym projektu jest zmniejszenie nierówności w dostępie do edukacji przedszkolnej w Gminie Żarów poprzez uruchomienie 15 nowych miejsc przedszkolnych, w tym dostosowanych do potrzeb dzieci z niepełnosprawnościami, w związku z czym powstanie 1 dodatkowy oddział w oddziale przedszkolnym w Szkole Podstawowej im. Astrid Lindgren w Zastrużu, wzrost dostępu do wysokiej jakości dodatkowych zajęć edukacyjnych i specjalistycznych dla 45 dzieci w wieku 3-6 lat tej placówki oraz podniesienie kompetencji 11 nauczycieli i pracowników przedszkolnych w zakresie pedagogiki specjalnej, doposażenie placówki w terminie od 01.IX.2018-30.VI.2019. Powstanie dodatkowy oddział, w związku z czym zostanie zatrudniony dodatkowy personel: nauczycielka i pomoc pedagogiczna, zostanie uzupełnione wyposażenie dostosowane do zwiększonej liczby dzieci. Będą realizowane zajęcia dodatkowe i specjalistyczne: biofeedback, logopedia, z integracji sensorycznej, teatralne, twórcze (plastyczne), muzyczne, kulinarne, gimnastyki z elementami gimnastyki korekcyjnej i psychoruchowej, na pływalni, eksperymentalno-odkrywcze, z dramy w j.ang., szkolenie z pedagogiki specjalnej dla nauczycieli i pozostałych pracowników pedagogicznych placówki.Utworzenie 15 nowych miejsc zapewni dzieciom przedszkolnym z Gminy równy dostęp do edukacji, a dodatkowa oferta edukacyjna pozwoli na wyrównanie szans na przyszłość.Efekty wzmocni podniesienie kompetencji przez nauczycieli oraz doposażenie placówki, co będzie wykorzystywane w placówce również po zakończeniu projektu.
