The project consists of the extension of the provincial road No 251 Kalska — Inowrocław from km 59 + 025,64 to km 59 + 821,19, on the construction of a road for bicycles. The cycle path was located in parallel to the carriageway of provincial road No 251 along the left edge of the road. The path goes beyond the existing road lane (except for inclusion in the existing road system in Piechnin). The width of the planned cycle path is 2 m. The pavement surface will be made of asphalt concrete. The main purpose of the project is to reduce the low emissions in the territory of the municipality of Barcin by the construction of the road for bicycles. The overall objective of the project is to improve the level of safety of road users. On a larger scale, achieving the above objectives will make it possible to achieve positive results, such as: • reducing road traffic flows on roads,• reducing accidents involving cyclists, enhancing the quality of life of residents. The project will result in a CO2 reduction target of 1,82 CO2/rok. (English)

    Przedmiotem projektu jest rozbudowa drogi wojewódzkiej Nr 251 Kaliska – Inowrocław od km 59+025,64 do km 59+821,19, polegająca na budowie drogi dla rowerów. Ścieżkę rowerową zlokalizowano równolegle do jezdni drogi wojewódzkiej nr 251 wzdłuż lewej krawędzi jezdni. Ścieżka przebiega poza istniejącym pasem drogowym (za wyjątkiem włączenia w istniejący układ drogowy w miejscowości Piechcin). Szerokość projektowanej ścieżki rowerowej wynosi 2m. Nawierzchnia ścieżki zostanie wykonana z betonu asfaltowego. Celem głównym realizacji projektu jest ograniczenie niskiej emisji na terenie gminy Barcin poprzez budowę drogi dla rowerów. Ogólnym celem zidentyfikowanym dla projektu jest poprawa poziomu bezpieczeństwa uczestnikom ruchu drogowego. W szerszej skali osiągnięcie powyższych celów umożliwi uzyskanie takich pozytywnych rezultatów, jak: • zmniejszenie natężenia ruchu pojazdów samochodowych na drogach, • ograniczenie ilości wypadków z udziałem rowerzystów, • poprawa jakości życia mieszkańców. W wyniku realizacji projektu planowane jest osiągnięcie wskaźnika zmniejszenia emisji CO2 wysokości 1,82 CO2/rok. (Polish)
