Celem projektu jest zwiększenie efektywności energetycznej budynku użyteczności publicznej, wykorzystywanego przez Centrum Kultury w Knurowie na potrzeby prowadzenia kina, jako narzędzia upowszechnienia kultury i sztuki. W ramach przedsięwzięcia przewidziano kompleksową termomodernizację budynku, w tym zmniejszenie strat ciepła przez przenikanie, modernizację źródła ciepła, podwyższenie sprawności instalacji c.o., modernizację instalacji wentylacyjnej oraz zmniejszenie zużycia energii elektrycznej poprzez zainstalowanie oświetlenia typu LED. W efekcie nastąpi redukcja zużycia energii cieplnej na potrzeby grzewcze budynku w wysokości około 78%. Zmniejszeniu o około 30% ulegnie również poziom zużycia energii elektrycznej. Tym samym wydatnie zmniejszy się emisja gazów cieplarnianych oraz pyłu PM10, co przyczyni się do poprawy jakości powietrza w Knurowie i okolicy. (Polish)

The aim of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of the public building, to be used by the Culture Centre in Knurów for cinema, as a tool for the dissemination of culture and art. The project provides for a comprehensive thermal renovation of the building, including a reduction of heat loss through permeation, modernisation of the heat source, increasing the efficiency of the heating system, modernisation of the ventilation system and reduction of electricity consumption by the installation of LED lighting. As a result, there will be a reduction in the thermal energy consumption for the heating of the building of around 78 %. Electricity consumption will also be reduced by around 30 %. This will significantly reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases and particulate matter PM10, thus contributing to the improvement of air quality in and around the river. (English)
