Jan located at the Central Gdańsk City Council, the restoration of the historic equipment of the Church, the extension of the visitor area and the creation of a comprehensive travel information system for the site. The project will complete the multiannual restoration and preservation work of the heritage site, make it possible to make available a unique monument to a wide audience, and will also contribute to the development of a unique cultural offer for the St. John’s Centre. At the same time, the investment will translate into a cohesive and attractive tourist and cultural offer of the city and region and thus the attractiveness of Gdańsk’s tourist attraction (including the Main City), which is a place of specific cultural properties on the whole of the region.     Projekt obejmuje dokończenie prac konserwatorskich i adaptacyjnych w środku i na zewnątrz gotyckiego kościoła św. Jana zlokalizowanego na Głównym Mieście w Gdańsku, przywrócenie zabytkowego wyposażenia kościoła, zwiększenie przestrzeni udostępnianej dla zwiedzających oraz stworzenie kompleksowego systemu informacji turystycznej o obiekcie. Projekt zakończy wieloletnie prace związane z rewaloryzacją i zabezpieczeniem zabytkowego obiektu, pozwoli na udostępnienie unikatowego zabytku szerokiemu gronu odbiorców, a także wpłynie na rozwój wyjątkowej oferty kulturalnej funkcjonującego tu Centrum św. Jana. Jednocześnie inwestycja przełoży się na kształtowanie spójnej i atrakcyjnej oferty turystycznej i kulturalnej miasta i regionu, a tym samym na podniesienie atrakcyjności turystycznej Gdańska (w tym Głównego Miasta), będącego miejscem o szczególnych walorach kulturowych w skali całego województwa.
