Projekt Rozwój sieci tras rowerowych Warszawy w ramach ZIT WOF – etap I realizowany jest w ramach Strategii ZIT WOF 2014-2020+ na terenie Warszawskiego Obszaru Funkcjonalnego. Obejmuje budowę/przebudowę odcinków dróg rowerowych o charakterze komunikacyjnym o długości 73,4 km. Wpłynie pozytywnie na ograniczenie emisji zanieczyszczeń powietrza, hałasu. W projekcie zostanie wybudowanych/zmodernizowanych 19 tras rowerowych (SW str. 63-64)-w tym Budowa drogi rowerowej wzdłuż ul. Radzymińskiej w partnerstwie z Miastem Ząbki i Gminą Miastem Marki. W ramach projektu wybudowano/zmodernizowano 6 tras rowerowych, pozostałe 13 zaplanowano do realizacji. Projekt zakłada wykorzystanie transportu niezmotoryzowanego indywidualnego i zmniejszenie wykorzystania samochodów osobowych. Zbudowane ścieżki będą umożliwiały potraktowanie roweru jako pełnoprawnej alternatywy dla samochodu osobowego i transportu indywidualnego, będą miały charakter infrastruktury miejskiej, łączącej miejsca zamieszkania i pracy. Do realizacji zaplanowano lokalizacje, które będą przebiegać przez istotne węzły przesiadkowe komunikacji zbiorowej oraz będą zbudowane wzdłuż ważnych arterii miasta, służących do ruchu samochodowego, co umożliwi lepszą integrację gałęzi transportu. W związku z tym drogi rowerowe powstałe w ramach projektu będą pełnić funkcję korytarzy transportowych. Projekt realizuje rekomendacje wskazane w dokumencie: Opracowanie możliwości rozwoju tras rowerowych o charakterze komunikacyjnym dla Warszawskiego Obszaru Funkcjonalnego do roku 2023. Projekt będzie realizowany zgodnie z zasadą uniwersalnego projektowania, polegającego projektowaniu produktów, środowiska, programów i usług w taki sposób by były użyteczne dla wszystkich, co będzie się wiązało również z dodatkowymi udogodnieniami dla osób z niepełnosprawnościami. Powstała infrastruktura będzie dostępna grupie docelowej: mieszkańcom Warszawy, WOF, turystom oraz korzystającym z systemu Veturilo. (Polish)

The project for the development of the Warsaw cycle route network under ITI WOF is carried out under the ITI WOF Strategy 2014-2020 + in the Warsaw Functional Area. Includes the construction/upgrading of 73.4 km of sections of communication roads. It will have a positive impact on the reduction of air pollutant emissions, noise. The project will bring the 19 cycle routes (SW pages) to be built/modernised. 63-64) -including Construction of a cycle road along the ul. Radzyn, in partnership with the City of Ząbki and Gmina Miah Marki. As part of the project, 6 cycle routes have been built/upgraded, the remaining 13 are planned for implementation. The project involves the use of non-motorised transport and a reduction in the use of passenger cars. The built paths will enable a bicycle to be treated as a fully fledged alternative to passenger cars and to individual transport, and will be of an urban infrastructure linking residence and work. Locations which will run through major public transport hubs are planned and will be built along major roads for car traffic, which will allow better integration of the modes of transport. Therefore, the bicycle roads formed by the project will serve as transport corridors. The project carries out the recommendations set out in the document: Development of a route for the development of communication paths for the Warsaw Functional Area by 2023. The project will be implemented in accordance with the principle of universal design, the design of products, the environment, programmes and services, in order to be useful for all, including additional facilities for people with disabilities. The infrastructure will be available to the target group: the residents of Warsaw, WOF, tourists and the users of Veturilo. (English)
