Projekt obejmuje przebudowę i rozbudowę dawnego Ratusza dla potrzeb muzeum archeologiczno-historycznego z częścią usługową (kawiarnia, toalety publiczne) oraz modernizację płyty Starego Rynku. Główną atrakcją będą rzeźby balansujące artysty światowej sławy Jerzego Kędziory. Przestrzeń rynku będzie wyposażona w małą architekturę służącą wypoczynkowi i rekreacji: pas wodny, siedziska i zieleń. Funkcję amfiteatru dla kameralnych imprez okolicznościowych będą pełniły schody prowadzące do muzeum. Celem projektu jest wykreowanie miejsca atrakcyjnego lokalnie i dla turystów poprzez pełne wykorzystanie potencjału Starego Miasta, a w dalszej perspektywie stopniowa poprawa sytuacji oraz samodzielne funkcjonowanie i dalszy rozwój tej części miasta. W szerszym aspekcie projekt zakłada zintegrowane działania rewitalizacyjne na rzecz społeczności lokalnej, historycznej tkanki miejskiej, przedsiębiorczości i kultury. Jego dopełnieniem będzie szereg działań uzupełniających wspieranych ze środków EFS. (Polish)

The project involves the reconstruction and extension of the former archaeological site to the needs of the archaeological and historical museum with the service section (cafeteria, public toilets) and the renewal of the Old Market board. The main attraction will be the sculpture of the world-renowned Jerzy Kędzin, the artist in the world. The market will be equipped with a small architecture for recreation and recreation: water, seat and green. An amphitheatre function for commemorative events will be carried out by stairs leading to a museum. The aim of the project is to create a place which is attractive locally and for tourists by fully exploiting the potential of the Old Town and, in the long term, to gradually improve the situation and the autonomous operation and further development of this part of the city. In a broader sense, the project involves integrated regeneration activities in favour of local communities, historical urban fabric, entrepreneurship and culture. It will be complemented by a number of complementary actions supported by the ESF. (English)
