The subject of the project is to conduct specialised trainings, workshops and study visits (domestic and foreign) in leading centres with achievements in universal design (PU) in the period 1.10.2021-31.10.2023. The activities carried out are aimed at acquiring/enhancing the competences of the PSW teaching staff in the field of universal design, which, as a result of increasing competences in the PU area, will be able to conduct classes for students on their own. The project assumes the practical use of didactic competences acquired by the staff by conducting classes. Modules of universal design classes within selected areas of education and implemented in the first and second degree studies and/or uniform master’s studies. Classes will be carried out in one semester (produced — Module I or started during the implementation of the project). Providing teaching staff with free access to training courses taking into account the specificity of the courses on which the PU teaching will be implemented, in the number and frequency enabling cyclical complementarity of knowledge and improving competences in key areas affecting the quality of the didactic process fully corresponds to the analysis of the needs carried out as part of the development of this project.In the long term, preparing the teaching staff of the PSW to conduct universal design classes will prepare future staff of the Polish economy — graduates of the PSW to provide services tailored to the needs of people with disabilities/restrictions, thus reducing the problem of lack of access to specialised services in the above groups. Przedmiotem projektu jest przeprowadzenie specjalistycznych szkoleń, warsztatów oraz wizyt studyjnych (krajowych oraz zagranicznych) w wiodących ośrodkach mających osiągnięcia w projektowaniu uniwersalnym (PU) w okresie 1.10.2021-31.10.2023. Realizowane działania mają na celu nabycie/podniesienie kompetencji kadry dydaktycznej PSW w zakresie projektowania uniwersalnego, która w wyniku podniesienia kompetencji w obszarze PU będzie mogła samodzielnie prowadzić zajęcia dla studentów. Projekt zakłada praktyczne wykorzystanie zdobytych przez kadrę kompetencji dydaktycznych poprzez poprowadzenie zajęć.Zajęcia obejmujące projektowanie uniwersalne,będą realizowane w oparciu o dokument pt. Moduły zajęć projektowania uniwersalnego w ramach wybranych obszarów kształcenia i wdrażane na studiach I i II stopnia stopnia i/lub na jednolitych studiach magisterskich. Zajęcia będą realizowane w wymiarze jednego semestru (zrealizowanego - Moduł I lub też rozpoczętego w trakcie realizacji projektu. Zapewnienie kadrze dydaktycznej dostępu do nieodpłatnych szkoleń uwzględniających specyfikę kierunków na których wdrożone zostanie nauczanie PU, w ilości i częstotliwości umożliwiającej cykliczne uzupełnienie wiedzy i podnoszenie kompetencji w kluczowych obszarach wpływających na jakość procesu dydaktycznego w pełni odpowiada analizie potrzeb przeprowadzonej w ramach opracowania niniejszego projektu.W długofalowej perspektywie, przygotowanie kadry dydaktycznej PSW do prowadzenia zajęć z projektowania uniwersalnego, przygotuje przyszłe kadry polskiej gospodarki - absolwentów PSW do świadczenia usług dostosowanych do potrzeb osób z niepełnosprawnościami/ograniczeniami, zmniejszając tym samym problem braku dostępu do wyspecjalizowanych usług ww.grup.
