Development of innovative granules based on chitosan with the addition of unique biomodifiers, intended for processing with extrusion technique.
Property / summary

Number_reference_aid_programme: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose of public aid: art: 25 EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L 119, p. That’s it. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014).The aim of the project is to develop at least one recipe and processing conditions for new, biodegradable, stable, homogeneous plasticised chitosan granules and/or composite with chitosan intended to be launched on the Polish market. The production of unique derivatives of natural polymer suitable for processing with techniques used for thermoplastic plastics will increase the scope of applications of these polymers on an industrial scale. The product developed, as a result of thermomechanical processing, will have a significantly expanded/different usability compared to the product currently obtained by wet processing. This will be achieved by using unique modifiers based on natural raw materials to plasticise the polymer. These modifiers will be designed and synthesised from available components, mainly from renewable sources. An optimal chemical structure of the biomodifiers used will be established, allowing to obtain a material based on chitosan with good processing and performance properties. The laboratory-based processing parameters of chitosan materials will be verified and optimised on a large-laboratory scale, and then on a technical quarter scale using a dedicated pilot line developed for this purpose. Based on the analysis of literature, patent databases and competitive environment, it was concluded that there are no solutions with the characteristics of a new product. The recipients of the product will be manufacturers of dressing products so-called: occlusive wounds intended for the treatment of medium haemorrhagic, pressure ulcers, inlet wounds, (English)

Numer_referencyjny_programu_pomocowego: SA.41471(2015/X) Przeznaczenie_pomocy_publicznej: art: 25 rozporządzenia KE nr 651/2014 z dnia 17 czerwca 2014 r. uznające niektóre rodzaje pomocy za zgodne z rynkiem wewnętrznym w stosowaniu art. 107 i 108 Traktatu (Dz. Urz. Ustalone w warunkach laboratoryjnych parametry przetwórstwa materiałów opartych o chitozan zostaną zweryfikowane i zoptymalizowane w skali wielkolaboratoryjnej, a następnie w skali ćwierć technicznej z wykorzystaniem dedykowanej do tego celu i opracowanej w ramach projektu linii pilotażowej. Odbiorcami wyrobu będą producenci wyrobów opatrunkowych tzw.: okluzyjnych, przeznaczonych do leczenia ran średniokrwotocznych, odleżynowych, wlotowych, (Polish)
