Solar roofs in the Municipality of Turośl
Property / summary

The project under the name “Sun Roofs in the Municipality of Turośl” concerns the construction of 76 RES installations in the municipality of Turośl, including 58 photovoltaic installations and 18 pieces of solar collector installations. Micro-installations will be built on 71 residential buildings. The total power of RES systems will be 0.40 MW. The purpose of the designed RES equipment is to produce renewable electricity and heat from solar energy for residential and living needs of residents of the municipality of Turośl. The main objective of the project is to increase the share of distributed renewable energy production and reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. The project will use polycrystalline modules and vacuum collectors, which will guarantee the maintenance-free and trouble-free efficiency of the systems not only during the lifetime of the project, but also in the projected lifetime of RES systems. The proposed RES systems will produce 259.84 MWh of electricity and 68.67 MWh of heat on an annual basis, and the estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions will amount to 234.33 Mg CO2/year, which represents a reduction of 70.30 % compared to the current situation. The planned photovoltaic installations will be connected to the power grid (on-grid installations). Accounting and balancing will take place under the current provisions for prosumers (Act of 19 July 2019 amending the Act on Renewable Energy Sources and certain other acts — Journal of Laws 2019 item. 1524). Solar collectors will be used to generate heat for the needs of the CWU. The project generates a number of economic and social benefits from reducing the financial burden on final customers for electricity and thermal bills, to improving air quality in the area, which indirectly translates into health and a pro-ecological image of a modern and ecological municipality. The project contributes to the spread of eco-awareness in the field of renewable energy sources. (English)

Projektowane instalacje fotowoltaiczne będą podłączone do sieci energetycznej (instalacje on-grid). (Polish)
