The overall objective is to connect pupils to their communities, by broadening their understanding of the importance of building aspirations and vocation skills, in order to ensure career readiness. The specific objectives are aiming to develop services of career guidance and counselling, for pupils from lower secondary school (VIII, IX and X grades), by identifying pupils` preferences and skills towards employment options, and, to encourage community Leads to help spread the word by serving as speakers and mentors as a way of strengthening school-labor market relationships and improving the transition. Project`s value is 397.056,19 € and it`s main activities are:project management, information&publicity campaign,project identity campaign,Vocational Ateliers, Strategy development regarding the role of local public authorities in providing counselling and support for pupils as future citizens of local communities, counseling programme,Vocation Quest local and county workshops and exploratory visits, creating a web-based resources network among the stakeholders,4 study visits. The target group consists of pupils from lower secondary school (VIII, IX and X grades) from each partner location, local public administrations, employers,NGOs acting in the field of education and local, regional and national public authorities. Project`s results namely a cross border Strategy, a common network between 5 partner locations and study visits address both output and result Programme indicators. (English)
