One of the most urging issues within the entire cross-border region is the current employment situation showing that the supply and the demand of work is unbalanced as a result of a general climate unfavourable to business-related initiatives. Project main objective is to improve the cross-border labour market conditions towards an integrated market with better employment rates. The project is aiming to improve the joint labour market in three key fields such as ICT, tourism and agriculture within the entire CB region. Within a total budget of 410 168.12 euro it will provide the opportunity to the CB population to have access to specialized SEM-Centres and a training platform which will increase the labour mobility. The project also aims at improving job opportunities in the cross-border area by exchange of information and experiences, provision of joint trainings and job fairs helping employers and workers to deal with specific problems of the area, incl. exchange of business and legal information. The market and legal analysis of the entire region, as well as the Joint Guides on legal and tax, and employment issues will increase the knowledge of the population and will give them the opportunity for a better inclusion in the labour market. Project’s implementation will significantly increase the number of participants in joint local employment initiatives and joint trainings which is among the Programme output indicators. (English)
