    Although functional for many uses, plastics exert considerable pressure on our environmental resources. It is therefore important to increase their recycling rate, which means that sufficient technical outlets and a high enough economic value are found to justify their reuse. At the same time, polymer additive manufacturing is experiencing a significant revival of interest, with the democratisation of molten wire deposit machines and the recent development of innovative technologies in this field. The DOUDOU project is part of this context: its objective is to propose technical solutions for the recycling of plastics via 3D printing using a global cross-border approach. It does so by creating a partnership between 4 research centres with complementary skills and industrial networks. (English)
