The project defined by the expertise of the Archaeological Heritage Direction of Piedmont and Turin University, has as objective to create a network between the most important archaeological sites, from prehistory until the Middle-Age, presents in the cross-border area. The project wants to organise them and put them in a sustainable network in a common system of valorisation, based on a temporal and spatial narrative of engaged relations created during millennia between man and landscapes. The project’s aims are: - Knowledge: reinforce specialized competences and the level of professionalization on both sides, according to a cross-border approach to allow the definition of an integrated model of archaeological research and of diffusion of knowledges for the local population, of technicians and public administration, but also to students. - Protection: reinforce the conservation of archaeological goods from prehistory to Middle-Age, as testimony of Human-Landscapes relations and the evolution of the territorial context until nowadays, according to a consequent process which will highlight the exceptional value of vestiges. - Valorisation: make easier, thorough the creation of touristic activities which respect archaeological sites and new methods of common valorisation of the heritage, the touristic use of cultural goods, in order to extend for the whole year the economic spinoffs over the territory.
