Cross-border market demand for local and quality products is increasing. Faced with this demand, new opportunities and the creation of numerous local economic projects (TPE) have emerged. New or forgotten trades are being created (market gardener, sheep/goat farmer, fruit and vegetable micro-processor, milk, cereals, zero waste and bulk grocer, short-circuit salesperson) and with them the need for technical (production, processing, marketing), entrepreneurial, salaried or territorial qualifications. EAL²/ LV² wishes to set up training courses that will meet the needs of tomorrow. First of all, by adapting existing courses to market requirements and/or filling in the gaps where modules are missing. Then, by training job seekers and business advisers, for example. The goal is to facilitate matching between supply and demand on the labour market, targeting, in particular, the young, unemployed, low-skilled and socially excluded groups. Through cross-border cooperation, this project will enable the doubling of training possibilities, internships and employment opportunities, access to facilities and equipment on both sides of the border, and organise a cross-border local food network.
