The aim of the project is to create the conditions for sale by transforming and revamping the currently outdated, degraded local market in Mohács, making the Mohács market attractive to local producers, the general public of consumers and tourists visiting our city, which means that local producers wish to enter the Mohács market with their goods. The creation of an attractive market environment attracts the producers of neighbouring municipalities, as well as the population and tourists, all of which contributes to the strengthening of the demand and supply side, leading to a recovery of the economy. Short-term objectives: The implementation of a modern, high-quality marketplace with construction and equipment procurement; reducing seasonality through intensive marketing activities; sustainable market operation with renewable energy; support for “post harvest manipulation” by building storage and cooling capacities. Long-term objectives of the project: Improving market access for local products and local producers, reducing the seasonality of market trade, improving the operating environment for local businesses; increasing the share of renewable energy sources. The market in Mohács operates in a municipal area bordered by buildings built on the back and side boundary of privately owned plots in the centre of the city. In the south-western part of the local government-owned market area there is a steel frame, covered-open sales hall with a wave-covered roof, next to it is a flat roofed shop and warehouse. In the covered-open sales area there are fixed points of sale with reinforced concrete (artificial stone) sheets laid on brick walls or concrete feet. Immediately next to the covered open sales area, there is a flat-roofed, brick walled shop and warehouse building on the east side of it, most of which is now used only for storage. On market days, the sale takes place under provisory rooftops extended to the east side of the building. The marketplace is mostly paved with asphalt, but in front of the buildings on the northern boundary. 7 m wide lane and the pavement between the pedestrian and the car entrance from Jókai Street was paved with concrete pavement. The operation of the market is currently limited to Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and in other periods, with the exception of the surrounding shops, there is only a small number of vendors in the area. There is also a large annual discrepancy between winter and spring to autumn: from April to September, sales outlets are full, but there are hardly any salesmen in winter. Parking around the market takes place in neighbouring public areas. The design programme shall include: In the middle of the market square, the indoor-open sales area will be upgraded and rebuilt, and a new flooring system will be provided so that the top of the sales area can be used as a parking lot, which is accessed by a ramp built from Jókai Street. The structure of the ramp and the parking level will be electrically heated to ensure safe traffic in winter without slip. A shielding device is placed above the parking lots, which will be designed to allow solar panels to be installed on them. The solar panels above the parking lots help to produce electricity, as well as shielding. A building serving in the lane between the entrance and the ramp leading to the parking level will be placed, in which the market inspectors’ office, first aid room, women’s and men’s toilets and barrier-free toilets will be located. In this building, warehouses, cold stores and waste storage are constructed. The entire area of the market is provided with a uniform washable surface. By reconstructing the public utility connections, we ensure the drainage of rainwater in the covered open sales area, we rebuild the current space lighting, and we create orderly water outlets by rebuilding the existing ones. In order to be able to operate during the winter season, part of the sales area will be closed with shutter gates and it will be possible to temper the space with electrical heating. A projekt célja a jelenleg elavult, leromlott állapotban lévő mohácsi helyi piac átalakításával, felújításával az árusítás olyan feltételeinek megteremtése, ami a mohácsi piacot a helyi termelők, a vásárlói nagyközönség és a városunkba látogató turisták számára vonzóvá teszi, melynek következtében a helyi termelők árujukkal a mohácsi piacon kívánnak megjelenni. A vonzó piaci környezet kialakítása bevonzza a környező települések termelőit és a lakosságot, turistákat is, mindez hozzájárul a keresleti-kínálati oldal erősödéséhez egyaránt, mely a gazdaság élénkülését eredményezi. Rövid távú célok: Korszerű, színvonalas, minőségi piactér megvalósítása kivitelezéssel és eszközbeszerzéssel; szezonalitás mérséklése intenzív marketing tevékenységgel; fenntartható piaci működés megújuló energiafelhasználással; „post harvest manipuláció” támogatása raktározási, hűtési kapacitások kiépítésével. A projekt hosszú távú céljai: Helyi termékek és helyi termelők piacra jutásának fejlesztése, a piaci kereskedelem szezonalitásának csökkentése, a helyi vállalkozások működési környezetének javítása;a megújuló energiaforrások részarány-növelése. A piac környéki parkolás a szomszédos közterületeken történik. A piac teljes területe egységes, mosható térburkolatot kap. Beszerzésre kerül továbbá 1 db multifunkcionális kommunális takarítógép, mely a piac területének tisztán tartásához nélkülözhetetlen. Fentieket figyelembe véve a projekt keretében tervezett beruházás egyes elemei az alábbi támogatható tevékenységek kategóriába illeszthetőek: - Önállóan támogatható tevékenységek a felhívás 3.1.1 pontja alapján: A) Helyi termelők, helyi piacra jutásának támogatása b) Meglévő piaci terület és kapcsolódó infrastruktúrájának átalakítása, felújítása, bővítése, korszerűsítése, helyreál (Hungarian)
