Project line section is part of TEN-T Corridor V/B and Mediterranean Corridor. Design: Preparation of the construction plans for the reconstruction of the Szántód-Kőröshegy — Balatonszentgyörgy railway line (railway track construction, overhead line construction, construction of structures, road construction, public utilities, etc.) on the basis of the tender documentation and tender plans issued in the framework of the public procurement procedure. Partial rebuilding of the overhead contact line system in line with track construction work. Reconstruction of railway structures, construction of railway track drainage. Construction of a broken artifact in the Fonyód area. Conversion of station and stop platforms to sk+ 55 cm high platforms, including Lepsény and Siófok stations. Upgrading of road and pedestrian crossings. Partial reconstruction of station and stationary high structures, including the facilities of the Lepsény — Szántód-Kőröshegy section. Projektben érintett vonalszakasz a TEN-T V/B folyosó, illetve a mediterrán folyosó része. Tervezés: A Szántód-Kőröshegy – Balatonszentgyörgy vasútvonal átépítésére vonatkozó szakági (vasúti pálya építés, felsővezeték építés, műtárgyépítés, útépítés, közműépítés, stb.) kiviteli tervek elkészítése a közbeszerzési eljárás keretében kiadott tenderdokumentáció, illetve tendertervek alapján. Kivitelezés: Szántód-Kőröshegy(bez.) – Balatonszentgyörgy(kiz.) vasútvonal szakasz átépítése 100/120 km/h sebességre, és 225 kN tengelyterhelésre. Új második vágányú szakasz (forgalmi kitérő) építése Balatonszemes – Balatonlelle felső állomásközben, Balatonlelle felső állomáshoz csatlakozva. Az állomási átmenő fővágányok és az abban lévő kitérők átépítése, megelőző fővágányok megerősítése. Felsővezetéki rendszer részleges átépítése igazodva a pályaépítési munkákhoz. Vasúti műtárgyak átépítése, vasúti pálya vízelvezetésének kiépítése. Fonyód térségében hullámtörő műtárgy építése. Állomási és megállóhelyi peronok sk+55 cm magasperonná történő átépítése, beleértve Lepsény és Siófok állomásokat is. Út- és gyalogos átkelőhelyek korszerűsítése. Állomási és megállóhelyi magasépítmények részleges átépítése, beleértve a Lepsény – Szántód-Kőröshegy szakasz létesítményeit is. Kiegészítő vízelvezetési munkák megvalósítása Balatonvilágoson (löszfal) és Siófok-Szabadisóstón. Kiegészítő járdaépítési feladatok elvégzése a Lepsény – Szántód-Kőröshegy vasútvonal-szakaszon.
