One of the founders of our company, Dr. József Karsai, worked as a plant protection engineer and patented dozens of inventions. His research was based on herbs. In the autumn of 2015, the Calendula program was established in South Békés, where Joseph was elected head of the herbal working group of the organisation. He brought more professionals around him: Prof. János Hajtó, a qualified chemist, doctor of physical and chemical sciences, and Árpád Mákos, our current plant manager. Highly concentrated extracts were produced from the herbal plants produced in the area. In the spring of 2017, the technology was protected by a patent application. From the autumn of 2017, a product development started, following the instructions of doctors and pharmacists, together with a food technologist engineer who started its operation as HerbaPharm Europe Kft. Our products have found a very positive reception. Our goal is to take advantage of the extremely good geographical conditions of Hungary, South Békés, where we can meet about 300-350 species. We provide the best for our customers from domestic, controlled, chemical-free, high-quality ingredients. The Kft. It was founded in 2017, which ended the year with a statistical headcount of 1 person and a price of HUF 106 000, but in 2018 it grew dynamically to 5 people (mainly industrial skilled workers with secondary education) and its turnover reached more than HUF 66 million. This growth rate can be projected year after year thanks to rising domestic and foreign demand. The aim is to develop and expand our production team, so that we can perform our existing activities more efficiently with more colleagues and can grow the results of the company. This development creates a more efficient performance of our activities, the expansion of our customer base and the creation of new business relationships. Main activity of the company: Biotechnology research and development, however, the activity to be developed in the project is the production of pharmaceutical raw materials, in connection with which we need to increase our capacity. For the collection and careful selection of more than one hundred herbal species, it is essential to have the right hand labour, so it is of utmost importance for us to expand and support the manufactory workforce. The market demand for pharmaceutical raw material production is presented in 3 ways: •Following an in-depth examination of all parts of the herb (root, stem, leaf, inflorescence, fruit), which part of the medicinal product may be of sufficient quality •The market trends also determine which herbs should be focused on our studies (e.g.: sea buckthorn) •Products for hit diseases advertised by the pharmaceutical industry also have a significant influence on testing priorities for medicinal herbs (e.g.: gingko biloba used for cerebral dementia) The processing of raw materials is carried out with high living needs in manufactory conditions. After that, we also manufacture food supplements using machine technology. We currently produce 16 kinds of products, of which we have a capacity of 7-9000 products per month. Our products are available in several forms: cream, extract, ground. Our employees are currently manufacturing 1 shift. Our plans include the introduction of capsule format in response to market demands in Hungary. We continuously publish our research results, which are received by the professional audience with awards and acknowledgments. We also co-operate with universities who help our professional development. We are also looking for contacts with educational institutions, who can be involved in learning about our daily operations and achievements. We are continuously improving our online appearance, and since summer 2019, we have also operated a webshop. The market for food supplements is highly competitive, so we have many competitors, such as: Béres, JutaVit, Szent-Görgyi Albert, etc. Due to the increase in our orders, we cannot fully serve our customers with our current staff, thus increasing their capacity by recruiting human resources. The company’s registered office: 5830 Battonya, 85 Pushkin Street, suitable for the project. The 3 employees to be employed in the framework of the project will be recruited in all 8 hours as a specialised industrial worker. Our plan is to double our turnover in 2019 thanks to the development. The project requires the purchase of equipment. Our HR strategy is based on zero fluctuations, so that our employees are as motivated as possible, so our goal is to raise wages by 10 % per year.     Cégünk egyik alapítója, Dr. Karsai József, növényvédelmi szakmérnökként végezte munkáját, több tucat találmányt szabadalmaztatott. Kutatásai alapját gyógynövények képezték. 2015 őszén Dél-Békésben létrejött a Calendula program, mely szervezet gyógynövény munkacsoportjának a vezetőjévé választották Józsefet. További szakembereket vont maga köré: Prof Dr. Hajtó Jánost, aki okleveles vegyész, a fizikai-, és kémiai tudományok doktora, valamint Mákos Árpádot, jelenlegi üzemvezetőnket. A környékben megtermelt, gyógyerővel bíró növényekből kiemelkedően koncentrált kivonatokat sikerült előállítani. 2017 tavaszán a technológiát szabadalmi beadvánnyal védtük le. 2017 őszétől elkezdődött egy termékfejlesztés, amely orvosok, gyógyszerészek útmutatásait is követve, élelmiszer technológus mérnökkel kiegészülve HerbaPharm Europe Kft-ként kezdte meg működését. Készítményeink rendkívül pozitív fogadtatásra találtak. Célunk, hogy kihasználjuk Magyarország, Dél-Békés rendkívül jó földrajzi adottságait, ahol mintegy 300-350 fajjal találkozhatunk. Mi hazai, ellenőrzött körülmények közt, vegyszermentesen termesztett, minőségi alapanyagokból adjuk a legjobbat fogyasztóinknak. A Kft. 2017-ben alakult, amely évet 1 fős statisztikai létszámmal és 106 000 Ft árbevétettel zárta, azonban 2018-ban dinamikusan növekedett 5 fős (főként középfokú végzettséggel rendelkező ipari szakmunkások) létszámra és árbevétele több mint 66 millió Ft-ot ért el. Ezen növekedési ütem évről évre prognosztizálható a növekvő hazai és külföldi keresletnek köszönhetően. Gyártó csapatunk fejlesztése, bővítése a cél, hogy a meglévő tevékenységünket több kollégával hatékonyabban tudjuk ellátni, növekedni tudjon a cég eredménye. Ezen fejlesztés megteremti a tevékenységünk hatékonyabb ellátását, ügyfélkörünk bővítését, új üzleti kapcsolatok megteremtését. A cég fő tevékenysége: Biotechnológiai kutatás, fejlesztés, azonban a projektben fejlesztendő tevékenység a gyógyszeralapanyag gyártás, melyhez kapcsolódóan kapacitásunk bővítése indokolt. A több mint száz gyógynövény faj összegyűjtéséhez és gondos átválogatásához elengedhetetlen a megfelelő kézi munkaerő, ezért kiemelkedően fontos terület számunkra a manufakturális munkaerő bővítése és támogatása. A gyógyszer alapanyag gyártás piaci igénye 3 féle módon jelentkezik: •A gyógynövény minden részének (gyökér, szár, levél, virágzat, termés) alapos vizsgálatát követően kerül megállapításra, mely részéből válhat megfelelő minőségű gyógyszer alapanyag •A piaci trendek is meghatározzák, mely gyógynövények kerüljenek vizsgálataink fókuszába (pl.: homoktövis) •A gyógyszeripar által reklámozott sláger betegségekhez tartozó termékek is jelentősen befolyásolják a gyógynövényekhez kapcsolódó vizsgálati prioritásokat (pl.: agyi demenciára használt gingko biloba) Az alapanyagok feldolgozását nagy helyigényű, manufakturális körülmények között nagy élő munka igénnyel végezzük. Ezt követően gépi technológia felhasználásával étrendkiegészítő termékek gyártásával is foglalkozunk. Jelenleg 16 féle terméket gyártunk, melyekből kapacitásunk 7-9000 darab termék/hó. Termékeink több formában is elérhetőek: krém, kivonat, őrlemény. Dolgozóink jelenleg 1 műszakban végzik a gyártást. Terveink között szerepel a kapszula formátum bevezetése a magyarországi piaci igényekre reagálva. Folyamatosan publikáljuk kutatási eredményeinket, melyeket díjakkal és elismerésekkel fogad a szakmai közönség. Együttműködéseket ápolunk egyetemekkel is, akik segítik szakmai továbbfejlődésünket. Emellett kapcsolatokat keresünk oktatási intézményekhez, akiket be tudunk vonni napi működésünk és eredményeink megismerésében. Folyamatos fejlesztéseket hajtunk végre az online megjelenésünk területén, 2019 nyara óta webshopot is üzemeltetünk. Az étrendkiegészítők piacán rendkívül éles a verseny, így számos versenytársunk van, mint pl.: Béres, JutaVit, Szent-Görgyi Albert stb. Megrendeléseink növekedése miatt jelenlegi létszámunkkal nem tudjuk teljeskörűen kiszolgálni vevőinket, így kapacitásuk bővítése szükséges humánerőforrás felvételével. A vállalkozás székhelye: 5830 Battonya, Puskin utca 85., mely alkalmas a projekt megvalósítására. A projekt keretében foglalkoztatni kívánt 3 fő munkavállaló mind 8 órában kerülnek felvételre speciális ipari szakmunkás munkakörben. Tervünk, hogy a fejlesztésnek köszönhetően a 2019-es árbevétel eredményünket megduplázzuk. A projekt keretében eszközbeszerzés indokolt. HR stratégiánk a már jelenleg is zéró fluktuációra alapozva, hogy minél motiváltabb munkavállalóink legyenek, így célunk az évenkénti 10 %-os béremelés. A létszámbővítés szervezetfejlesztési feladatokat is igényel, mint például a hierarchia kialakítását, pozíciók definiálását, rugalmas munkaidő meghatározását. Távlati célunk a havi 30.000 db termék legyártása 2 műszak bevezetésével, 15 fő esetében, mellyel forgalmunk a 2 Mrd Ft-ot is elérheti.
