The aim of the project “Preparing a local development strategy for the city of Calvary” is to develop a strategy for the development of the city of Kalvarija by exploiting the links between residential communities, businesses and local authorities to enhance the social integration of communities and improve local employability. The task of the project is to develop a local development strategy for the city of Kalvarija, which will help to solve the problems of the people of the city of Kalvarija, such as unemployment, low level of education, employment, leisure and so on. The local development strategy of the city of Kalvarija will include an analysis of the urban area, the objectives and objectives of the local development strategy, monitoring indicators, the action plan for the implementation of the local development strategy, the management and monitoring arrangements, the financial plan and the involvement of the local community in the preparation of the strategy. The following activities are planned to be implemented in close cooperation with the local community, public authorities, business and grassroots organisations: organise a meeting with the local community and conduct an online population survey. After the implementation of the project’s activities, the project results in the development of a local development strategy, which includes measures to increase the employability of urban residents and the social integration of the community. Projekto "Kalvarijos miesto vietos plėtros strategijos rengimas" tikslas-parengti Kalvarijos miesto plėtros strategiją, išnaudojant gyvenamosios vietovės bendruomenių, verslo ir vietos valdžios ryšius bendruomenių socialinės integracijos didinimui ir vietinių įsidarbinimo galimybių gerinimui. Projekto uždavinys-parengti Kalvarijos miesto vietos plėtros strategiją, kuri padės spręsti Kalvarijos miesto žmonėms opias problemas, tokias kaip bedarbystė, žemas išsilavinimo lygis, užimtumas, laisvalaikio praleidimas ir panašiai. Kalvarijos miesto vietos plėtros strategija apims miesto teritorijos analizę, vietos plėtros strategijos tikslus ir uždavinius, stebėsenos rodiklius, vietos plėtros strategijos įgyvendinimo veiksmų planą, valdymo ir stebėsenos tvarką, finansinį planą ir gyvenamosios vietovės bendruomenės įtraukimą į strategijos rengimą. Tikslo pasiekimui, glaudžiai bendradarbiaujant su vietos bendruomene, valdžios institucijomis, verslo ir visuomeninėmis organizacijomis, numatoma įgyvendinti šias veiklas: surengti susitikimą su vietos bendruomene ir atlikti gyventojų apklausą internetu. Įgyvendinus projekto veiklas bus pasiektas projekto rezultatas- parengta vietos plėtros strategija, kurioje numatyta priemonės miesto gyventojų įsidarbinimo galimybių ir bendruomenės socialinės integracijos didinimui.
