The project aims to develop connectivity of local roads in the municipality of Elektrėnai by implementing traffic safety and environmental protection measures. The municipality of Elektrėnai plans to implement traffic safety measures in Sanatorijos str. between Dubija and Dvaro str. Abromiškės, improving traffic safety and environmental protection. One of the main problems is the unsafe and convenient movement of pedestrians in parallel to the street. Pedestrians move along the side or the carriageway because there are no paths on the street. Quite intense movement will take place on this street. People travel to Abromiškės Rehabilitation Clinic, to collective gardens, to Abromiškiai barn, where events of Abromiškiai community often take place. It is planned to move the Museum of Literature and Art to Abromiškiai barn, so the number of pedestrians will increase. On this street pedestrians (children, schoolchildren) go unsafe to bus stops in Dvaro street, near the barn, in Dubijos street, near the ring and by the road A1 Vilnius-Kaunas-Klaipėda. The draft provides for: preparatory works, extension works, installation of surface water drainage systems, installation of pavements, installation of roadside control measures, installation of pedestrian paths, raising of street lighting, installation of pedestrian guard fences, landscaping and remediation. Projektu siekiama plėtoti susisiekimą vietinės reikšmės keliais Elektrėnų savivaldybėje, diegiant eismo saugos ir aplinkos apsaugos priemones. Elektrėnų savivaldybė planuoja įdiegti eismo saugos priemones Sanatorijos g. tarp Dubijos ir Dvaro g. Abromiškėse, pagerinant eismo saugumą ir aplinkos apsaugą. Viena pagrindinių problemų – neužtikrintas saugus bei patogus pėsčiųjų judėjimas lygiagrečiai gatvės. Pėstieji juda kelkraščiu ar važiuojamąja dalimi, nes gatvėje nėra įrengta takų. Šia gatve vyks gana intensyvus judėjimas. Žmonės keliauja į Abromiškių reabilitacijos kliniką, į kolektyvinius sodus, į Abromiškių svirną, kur dažnai vyksta Abromiškių bendruomenės renginiai. Į Abromiškių svirną planuojama perkelti Literatūros ir meno muziejų, todėl pėsčiųjų dar padaugės. Šia gatve pėstieji (vaikai, moksleiviai) nesaugiai eina į autobusų sustojimus Dvaro gatvėje, prie svirno, Dubijos gatvėje, prie žiedo ir prie kelio A1 Vilnius-Kaunas-Klaipėda. Projekte numatyta: paruošiamieji darbai, pralaidų prailginimo darbai, paviršinio vandens nuvedimo sistemų įrengimas, bordiūrų įrengimas, nuovažų įrengimas, eismo reguliavimo priemonių įrengimas, pėsčiųjų tako įrengimas, gatvės apšvietimo iškėlimas, pėsčiųjų apsauginės tvorelės įrengimas, teritorijos apželdinimas ir sutvarkymas.
