During the implementation of the project, the construction of a new taxiway Z — a new taxiway, surface sewage networks, drainage, signal and axial lights is planned. The installation of a new taxiway Z at Vilnius International Airport will create the following benefits: 1. The safety of aircraft manoeuvrability is ensured: the introduction of a new taxiway Z will reduce the taxi time of aircraft from the northern apron to the start of the take-off/landing runway and vice versa. The current taxiway A taxiing aircraft are required to run an additional distance before the start of the runway and perform a turning manoeuvre after reaching the runway.     Projekto įgyvendinimo metu numatoma naujo riedėjimo tako Z statyba - įrengiamas naujas riedėjimo takas, paviršinių nuotekų tinklai, drenažas, signalinių ir ašinių žiburių sistema. Įrengus naują riedėjimo tako Z tarptautiniame Vilniaus oro uoste bus sukuriamos šios naudos: 1. Užtikrinta orlaivių manevringumo sauga – atsiradus naujam riedėjimo takui Z sumažės orlaivių riedėjimo trukmė nuo šiaurinio perono iki kilimo/tūpimo tako pradžios ir atvirkščiai. Šiuo metu esamu riedėjimo taku A riedantys orlaiviai privalo riedėti papildomą atstumą iki kilimo ir tūpimo tako pradžios bei pasiekus kilimo-tūpimo taką atlikti apsisukimo manevrą. Įgyvendinus projektą, sumažės orlaiviui reikalingų atlikti sudėtingų manevrų skaičius; sutrumpės nutūpusių/pakilimui riedančių orlaivių riedėjimo laikas. 2. Oro bei triukšmo taršos sumažėjimas dėl trumpesnio orlaivių riedėjimo laiko - bus trumpiau skleidžiamas orlaivių variklių triukšmas, tuo pačiu sumažės orlaivių degalų sąnaudos ir į aplinką išmetamų teršalų kiekis. 3. Pagerėjusi keleivių patirtis dėl saugesnio bei trumpesnio orlaivio manevravimo siekiant pakilti arba pasiekti terminalą. (Lithuanian)
