    THE PROJECT STEMS FROM THE HISTORY OF AN I.I.S.S. THAT HAS PLAYED IN RECENT YEARS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SEVESO VALLEY A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN PROMOTING SCHOOL NETWORKS AIMED AT PREVENTING THE TRAINING OF TEACHERS IN THE INTRODUCTION OF INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS. THE AIM IS TO TEST IN THE RESEARCH METHOD A MODEL OF METHODOLOGICAL INNOVATION BASED ON THE IDEA OF THE EXPLOITATION OF EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS AS REGIONAL CENTRES, IMPLEMENTING AN INCLUSIVE TEACHING PROCESS AND DISSEMINATING INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS SUCH AS COOP. LEARNING AND PEER EDUCATION, SO THAT EACH STUDENT BECOMES A KEY PLAYER IN HIS EDUCATION PROCESS AND IS NOT AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE GROUP, AND THE PROJECT, IT IS PROPOSED TO TAKE ACTION ON THE OUTSTANDING SCHOOL FAILURE RATE, WHICH IS CHARACTERISED BY A MARKED DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE EXIT LEVELS AND THOSE REQUIRED IN ENT.
