WITH THE SPECIALIST ASSISTANCE PROJECT, THE AIM IS TO PROVIDE THE SCHOOL WITH ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE TO REALISE THE RIGHT TO STUDY, TO THE SOCIAL AND LABOUR INTEGRATION OF DISADVANTAGED PUPILS. IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THESE OBJECTIVES, SET OUT IN THE P.E.I. AND THE PDPS, PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF PERSONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL AUTONOMY HAVE BEEN PLANNED, TO ALLOW THE MOST VULNERABLE PUPILS NOT ONLY TO STAY IN SCHOOL, BUT ALSO TO DEVELOP THEIR POTENTIAL, WITH A VIEW TO THE FULL DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL’S PERSONALITY. THE ACTIVITIES THAT WILL ALSO INVOLVE NORMODOT PUPILS AND FAMILIES WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE CLASSROOM, IN DEDICATED WORKSHOPS, IN THE GYM, ON THE TERRITORY (ASL, PET THERAPY, HIPPOTHERAPY) AND OUTSIDE THE ORDINARY. IT IS PLANNED TO EMPLOY AT LEAST EIGHT SPECIALISED OPERATORS IN THE VARIOUS FIELDS: MUSIC THERAPY, ABA, MUSIC AND THEATRE, PSYCHOPEDAGOGY, COMPUTER SCIENCE, PET THERAPY, METHODOLOGIES AND TEACHING STRATEGIES.
