VBI is one of the market leaders in the field of pre-stressed slab flooring. The production work is carried out in a 2-shift system. VBI has to do with a stable occupation. VBI is een van de marktleiders op het gebied van voorgespannen plaatvloeren. De productiewerkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd in een 2-ploegensysteem. VBI heeft te maken met een stabiele bezetting. De gemiddelde leeftijd van de medewerkers is 46 jaar. VBI investeert veel in zijn ontwikkeling. Hier zijn de medewerkers een groot goed. Van belang voor VBI is dat de medewerkers op een goede manier de aow gerechtigde leeftijd kan behalen. Van belang in dit project is om met het uiteindelijk resultaat een programmavoorstel met bijbehorend stappenplan om de inzetbaarheid te verduurzamen in dit geval op medisch en psychosociaal vlak. Heel bewust is gekozen voor een aanpak met directe betrokkenheid van de medewerkers, door de personeelsvertegenwoordiging te laten deelnemen aan de hiervoor opgezette projectgroep. Werkgever en werknemer worden zich bewust van het nut en de noodzaak van (eigen)verantwoordelijkheid op het gebied van duurzame inzetbaarheid op deze manier. (Dutch)
