Should a course be taken or should we break up worn-in methods? Healthy and safe working should not only be imposed from above, but also from the employees themselves. Colleagues look critically at each other and speak to others if they do not adhere to agreed working attitudes, etc. In a flexible working culture, every employee works more effectively. By making employees more widely and more flexible, they are able to perform the diversity of services in a sustainable way. A development plan is drawn up with the employees. This allows SUMAC to grow to multiple services, such as restaurant, catering and franchising. The result of the project is that SUMAC, as a healthy company, can continue to respond to current market developments and opportunities. (English)

    SUMAC heeft 7 medewerkers en 7 oproepkrachten. SUMAC is een jong mediterraans restaurant en groeiend. Sumac is ontstaan omdat de eigenaars vaak beleving en sfeer misten bij het uit eten gaan. Sumac is erg kritisch bij de keuze van haar producten en hoe wij hiermee omgaan. Duurzaamheid staat hierbij in alle gevallen centraal. SUMAC heeft al verschillende aanvragen ontvangen voor nieuwe vestigingen in andere steden of de mogelijkheden voor catering of franchising van het concept. Dat wil SUMAC graag, maar voordat de eigenaren deze stap zetten willen zij duurzaamheid en duurzame inzetbaarheid volledige geborgd hebben in haar (flexibele) bedrijfsvoering en restaurantbeleving van onze klanten, maar ook in de leercultuur van ons personeel en in de ontwikkeling van ondernemerschap van onze medewerkers. Door de subsidie kunnen plannen voor duurzame inzetbaarheid in-brede-zin worden geconcretiseerd in acties en activiteiten, die ook worden geïmplementeerd in het bedrijf. Het beoogd resultaat is dat medewerkers hebben geleerd om door de ogen van een werkgever naar het werk te kijken. Wat zou iedere werknemer willen verbeteren?. Wat moet ervoor gebeuren om dat voor elkaar te krijgen? Moet er een cursus gevolgd worden of moeten ingesleten werkwijzen worden opengebroken?. Gezond en veilig werken moet niet alleen van boven worden opgelegd, maar moet ook vanuit de medewerkers zelf komen. Collega’s kijken kritisch naar elkaar en spreken anderen erop aan als deze zich niet houden aan afgesproken werkhouding, etc. In een flexibele werkcultuur werkt elke medewerker effectiever. Doordat medewerkers breder en flexibeler inzetbaar worden zijn zij in staat om de diversiteit aan diensten op een duurzame wijze uit te voeren. Met de medewerkers wordt een ontwikkelingsplan opgesteld. Hierdoor kan SUMAC groeien naar meerdere diensten, zoals restaurant, catering en of franchising. Het resultaat van het project is dat SUMAC als gezond bedrijf kan blijven inspelen op de huidige marktontwikkelingen en -mogelijkheden. (Dutch)
