Optimus, with the help of an external consultant, aims to better identify the ambitions of employees and encourage employees to develop tools and/or reorganisations (e.g. offering tailor-made development plans) for internal entrepreneurship and mobility. Optimus realises that its employees are the company’s most important capital and wants to enable employees to play an active role in promoting sustainable employability. For this reason, workers are involved in the ESF project from the beginning to the end. As access to employees‘functions and wishes is crucial in order to understand employees’ ambitions, employee input is extremely important for the success of the project. Employees will be interviewed to map the possibilities and wishes in order to create personal development plans and/or make them up to date. Employees are also actively encouraged to work together with the external advisor to reflect creatively on how to promote internal mobility and entrepreneurship within the organisation and will participate jointly in organised sessions dealing with these themes. The promotion of internal mobility, ambitious culture and internal entrepreneurship should ultimately increase employee engagement and satisfaction, enabling the long-term sustainable employability of workers.
