Property / summary

Outpatient workers are at risk if they visit or leave people. They come to places where the target group is located, namely on the street and at their home. The target group is unstable, flammable and unpredictable. Add the fear of emergency workers for unsafe situations. And there is already a tense atmosphere. The employee has to deal with this already when he steps over the threshold. And what do you do when a client starts talking about his (self) murder thoughts? Do you have to take that seriously? How do you know if they're real plans or a scream for attention? Employees sometimes fear what they are going to find. That’s why suicidal prevention is needed. To have handles to cope with these situations. The aim is to make the topic negotiable, to organise internal reception and support, and to identify dangerous situations. An expert is essential in doing so (English)
