For this application, Campus Värnamo is the project owner with Business Gnosjöregion AB (BGR) as a collaboration actor. The Jönköping Region and the Kronoberg Region support the application and will coordinate between other ongoing projects. The goal of the project is to give 1600 employees at approximately 100 companies in Jönköping and Kronoberg counties a strengthened position in their current professional role or alternatives within a new professional role. This will be done through competence-enhancing initiatives. Need analyses will be carried out and training consultants will be hired to identify and fill the needs. Through this project, women and men in the manufacturing industry in Jönköping and Kronoberg counties are expected to develop in terms of skills, all in order to strengthen their position in the labour market and contribute to increasing the competitiveness of Swedish industry.
