The “SIA model” is a successful concept that the NGO Furuboda has developed with funding from Allmänna Arvsfonden and in collaboration with Malmö University. The method has proved successful by enhancing disabled youth there changes to get an long-term employment. The method focuses on empowerment, gradual activity increase and individual processes which supports the individual even during employment. The SIA-model gets its theoretical base from Supported Employment. (Swedish)
