The much-discussed gap between childcare and education can only be realised when employees’ knowledge and skills are broadened. As pedagogical staff in a learning environment, they can function without knowledge and understanding of the working methods within primary education. This knowledge will help to improve the functioning of childcare facilities. In addition, career opportunities are increased inside and outside the organisation. In childcare, a higher level of quality is achieved, which is not only good for children but also for the work pleasure and the learning culture within the organisation. (English)

(Dutch)
