The Mediacollege (Ma) is a vocational school for the media and offers in addition to VMBO- basic professional, framework profession and mixed learning pathway with specific media subjects, various MBO courses in the fields of shaping, AV, stage and event technology, games and media production. More than 240 teachers work at the media college. The MaFuture project has been the focus of the MaFuture project for us over the past year. In this, together with a broad representation of the school, we have given substance to the strategy of the next four years. Part of this is to pay attention to the sustainable employability of our employees. We note that some of the staff find it difficult to keep up with their work until they retire. The workload is high and the pupils demand continued attention. At the same time, the administrative burden is increasing and digitalisation also plays a role, which calls for lasting challenges. The project will contribute to the identification of development needs and learning opportunities and to use them for improved sustainable employability. A large proportion of the staff is over 45 years of age. The project will be open to all staff. The results of this project provide teachers with insight into their ambitions and (learning) needs for sustainable employability. This makes the involvement of employees in the theme of sustainable employability and contributes to increasing the effectiveness of the organisation. The board employs an external advisor who supports the development and implementation of an approach that actively involves employees in responding to changing circumstances and the organisation of work. The external advisor stimulates the understanding of one’s own learning behaviour. (English) | |||||||||||||||

(Dutch)
