React — EU Job Boost
Property / summary

The project is aimed at women and men who have become unemployed during the pandemic. The main target group in React Europe — Job Boost will be young adults and foreign born people who have a relatively low level in Swedish. The goal and purpose is to be able to offer support in the form of Supported Employment, an evidence based on working method that requires close cooperation with the participant. The method is also to find a workplace and an employer as quickly as possible and provide support to participants and the employer and make the necessary adjustments at the workplace. One day per week, all participants will have a labour market day that includes various elements such as knowledge of the labour market, different professions, study visits, lectures and workshops. Within the labour market day, the horizontal principles must also be alive and clear. Here, for example, discrimination can be discussed based on my own experiences, gender stereotyped career choices and what it would be like to work in a typical male or female dominated profession and how I can make choices that break these patterns. The goal for the participants is to get further and out to work, start studies or be better placed to continue to apply for work on their own when the project is over. (English)
