Matching Kronoberg is a strategic cooperation with the purpose to gather relevant public actors to create better opportunities to match and provide competences to the employers in the region of Kronoberg. Växjö municipality is the project owner and the project is run in cooperation with the municipalities of Alvesta, Lessebo, Uppvidinge and Tingsryd, and also with the Swedish Public Employment Agency, the Swedish Public Insurance Agency and Regional Kronoberg. Matching Kronoberg consists of three parts: the first is strategic cooperation between authorities, municipalities and the employers in the region. The second part is specialised staff working to improve the matching on the labour market. The third is providing the necessary competences to the employers by preparing and skills-training the project participants and also educating the staff to better support the employer aswell as the participant.
