Municipality of Leiden
Property / summary

Increasing opportunities for young people with disabilities with the use of European funding. The city centre of Leiden applies for the ESF grant Active Inclusion for the region. It is difficult for young people from the practical schools and secondary special education to find a place in this labour market. ESF resources are used to provide them with additional guidance and to place young people with the right luggage on the labour market, so that they can gain a number of years of work experience there. In the meantime, we know that a good job institution and an active attitude are prerequisites for finding a place in the labour market. In this project too, schools work hard to create opportunities with these young people and their parents. (English)

(Dutch)
