In the labour market region of West Brabant, the Schools of Practical Education and Secondary Special Education will work together to prepare students for a sustainable place in the labour market. Participating schools 1) Aventurijncollege 2) Berkenhofcollege 3) Brederocollege 4) Breda College 5) Praktijkschool de Zwaaikom 6) Praktijkschool Breda 7) Da Vincicollege Activities With this grant application we focus on strengthening the existing structure and facilities for young people. The activities that are being used are practical lessons in a learning company, industry-oriented courses and internship work placement learning. Objective By providing additional guidance to the above-mentioned activities, pupils with a greater distance from the labour market will be given a better chance of finding work or continuing training. Intended results — With the activities we promote the integration of PRO and VSO into the labour market or further education — The job management (guidance to work) of the PRO and VSO schools within the region is integral, forward-looking and preventive — Preventing early school leaving within PRO and VSO — The young people are better prepared for the labour market-based career choice — Where possible, young people obtain a (part) certificate focused on a specific occupation (English) | |||||||||||||||

In de arbeidsmarktregio West Brabant gaan de scholen voor Praktijkonderwijs en Voortgezet Speciaal Onderwijs samenwerken om leerlingen voor te bereiden op een duurzame plek op de arbeidsmarkt. Deelnemende scholen 1) Aventurijncollege 2) Berkenhofcollege 3) Brederocollege 4) Breda College 5) Praktijkschool de Zwaaikom 6) Praktijkschool Breda 7) Da Vincicollege Activiteiten Met deze subsidieaanvraag zetten we in op het versterken van de bestaande structuur en voorzieningen voor jongeren. De activiteiten waarop wordt ingezet zijn praktijklessen in een leerwerkbedrijf, branchegerichte cursussen en stagewerkplekleren. Doelstelling Door extra begeleiding bij de hierboven genoemde activiteiten krijgen leerlingen met een grotere afstand op de arbeidsmarkt een betere kans op werk of een vervolgopleiding. Beoogde resultaten - Met de activiteiten bevorderen we de aansluiting van PRO en VSO op de arbeidsmarkt of vervolgonderwijs - De arbeidstoeleiding (begeleiding naar werk) van de PRO en VSO scholen binnen de regio is integraal, toekomst- en preventiegericht - Voorkomen vroegtijdig schoolverlaten binnen PRO en VSO - De jongeren worden beter voorbereid op de arbeidsmarktgerichte beroepskeuze - Waar mogelijk behalen jongeren een (deel)certificaat gericht op een specifiek beroep (Dutch)
