Bibliotheek VANnU maakt nadrukkelijk de beweging om in 2017 een actieve professionele partner te zijn in het lokale netwerk binnen haar werkgebied van gemeentes. De organisatie heeft in 2016 haar meerjarenbeleidsprogramma geformuleerd dat vraagt om een verdiepingsslag op het gebied van de inzetbaarheid van de medewerkers. Het welbevinden van de medewerker wordt inzichtelijk gemaakt en verder wordt In gezamenlijkheid met de medewerkers de nieuwe rol van de medewerker van de toekomst verder verkend en doorontwikkeld. Medewerkers gaan reflecteren op hun nieuwe rollen en werkwijzen. Wat hebben zij nodig om te kunnen excelleren?
