Property / summary

By working on three different work packages (business development programmes, production networks and open test beds), the project will support SMEs in cultural and creative industries (KKN) to accelerate the recovery from COVID-19 and promote greater resilience to new societal challenges. The overall objective of the project is to create sustainable growth of SMEs in cultural and creative industries. Through the use of digitalisation, design knowledge and innovation, the project aims to support 30 businesses in post-COVID-19 recovery. The project will also help companies build resilience to new societal challenges. The project objective is divided into four measurable milestones. To achieve these objectives, the project will work through three comprehensive work packages: business development programs, production networks and open test beds. The four milestones are: — Recovery and resilience (resilience) via digitalisation — 30 companies have participated in the business development programme and redesigned their business models to accelerate their recovery and increase resilience to other societal changes. — Recovery and resilience through design knowledge — 30 companies have participated in open test beds for new digital technologies. They have increased their design knowledge for greater flexibility, reduced spillage and improved production processes according to long service life principles. As a result, they have increased their competitiveness and resilience with ecological sustainability as leverage. — Recovery and resilience through innovation — 30 companies strengthen their innovation capacity through increased design knowledge, business development and collaboration. The innovation capacity increases the resilience of companies and the ability to face future societal changes. — Collaboration — 5 new forms of collaboration have been created through the activities of the project, thereby increasing the competitiveness and resilience of companies through innovation.
