Het project betreft een nieuwe subsidieregeling, de VIA 2021. Deze subsidieregeling volgt de VersnellerInnovatieve Ambities 2020 (VIA 2020) op. Het succes van deze regeling was de aanleiding om vervolg tegeven aan deze subsidieregeling. De VIA 2021 is voor mkb in de provincies Drenthe, Fryslân enGroningen en heeft als doel innovatie en valorisatie te stimuleren.Noord Nederland heeft naar verhouding veel mkb-bedrijven. Om de economie in Noord Nederland testimuleren is het van belang dat mkb-bedrijven innoveren. Door het toepassen van kennis is innovatiemogelijk en dat moet leiden tot de ontwikkeling van nieuwe producten, diensten en processen en hetvernieuwen van de organisatie. (Dutch)
