Our society is digitising. Despite the increase in eHealth products, the number of successful implementations is lagging behind. The partners (UMCG, Hanse University of Applied Sciences, University of Groningen, Reconcept and Wild Sea) in this project join forces to establish the “Proeftuin eHealth Groningen”. De Proeftuin facilitates entrepreneurs in testing, developing and implementing their digital healthcare innovations. The Proeftuin consists of a virtual care environment with a Real-life demonstration and test facility. The Proeftuin stimulates interaction between stakeholders (including ICT specialists, end users, healthcare professionals, SMEs), so that (premature) healthcare innovations can be brought to practice. This leads to the promotion of health/activity/education and the positioning of Northern Netherlands as an eHealth region. (English)

Onze samenleving digitaliseert. (Dutch)
