(A) The project will contribute to improving the environmental performance in the city of Plovdiv through investments in the following types of sites: (1) streets and squares — investments in road and pavement flooring, installation of urban furniture, energy-saving street lighting, landscaping;(2) inter-block spaces — pavement of pedestrian paths, construction of sports and playgrounds, supply and installation of park architectural elements, park planning, automated irrigation systems;(3) specific recreation areas (the southern bank of the Maritsa River) — construction of alleys; delivery and installation of urban furnishings, construction of children’s facilities and sports facilities, park planning, installation of lighting fixtures with LED luminaires. The listed types of objects and corresponding interventions are concentrated in the area with social functions. The nature of the investments, their location and combination will lead to a significant improvement in the living and recreational conditions of the local population, including a large Roma community. Interventions in the social zone will support the absorption of the river coast of Maritsa as an environment for sport and recreation, as well as facilitate the connectivity between emblematic urban spaces (Chambaz Tepe, archaeological sites, approaches to the Old Town). In addition, a site is laid down in the area of public nature, which has supra-municipal importance — the renovation of public spaces around the Central Station.(C) Expected results: (1) A beautiful and landscaped part of the southern bank of the Maritsa River, including built sports and playgrounds;(2) Rehabilitated and reconstructed groups of streets and squares in the area with social functions, including introduced energy-saving street lighting;(3) Built, landscaped and socialised inter-block spaces in the area with social functions, including built playgrounds and sports grounds;(4) Renovated flooring and elements of Blvd. "Hr. (А) Необходимост от проектаПроектът ще допринесе за подобряване на екологичните характеристики в град Пловдив чрез инвестиции в следните типове обекти:(1) улици и площади – инвестиции за пътни и тротоарни настилки, монтаж на градско обзавеждане, енергоспестяващо улично осветление, озеленяване;(2) междублокови пространства – настилка на пешеходни алеи, изграждане на спортни и детски площадки, доставка и монтаж на паркови архитектурни елементи, паркоустройство, автоматизирани поливни системи;(3) специфични зони за отдих (южния бряг на река Марица) – изграждане на алеи; доставка и монтаж на градско обзавеждане, изграждане на детски съоръжения и спортни съоръжения, паркоустройство, монтиране на осветителни тела с LED осветители.Изброените типове обекти и съответстващите им интервенции са концентрирани в Зоната със социални функции. Характерът на инвестициите, тяхното разположение и комбиниране ще доведе до значително подобрение на условията за обитаване и отдих на местното население, включващо и голяма ромска общност. Намесите в социалната зона ще подкрепят усвояването на речното крайбрежие на Марица като среда за спорт и рекреация, както и ще улеснят свързаността между емблематични градски пространства (Джамбаз тепе, археологически обекти, подходи към Стария град).В допълнение е заложен обект в Зоната с обществен характер, който има надобщинско значение – обновяването на публични пространства около Централна гара.(В) Очаквани резултати:(1) Благоустроена и озеленена част от южния бряг на река Марица, включително изградени спортни и детски площадки;(2) Рехабилитирани и реконструирани групи улици и площади в Зоната със социални функции, включително въведено енергоспестяващо улично осветление;(3) Благоустроени, озеленени и социализирани междублокови пространства в Зоната със социални функции, включително изградени детски площадки и спортни площадки;(4) Обновени настилки и елементи на бул.
