With this project proposal Pirdop Municipality will implement a demonstration project aimed at sustainable management of municipal waste on its territory.The activities envisaged in the project include treatment of municipal waste generated on the territory of the municipality of Pirdop.The demonstration project will be aimed at implementing measures for the prevention of municipal waste generation and separate collection of municipal waste.For the implementation of the demonstration project, the applicant has identified successfully applied good practices in the field of municipal waste management elsewhere, which are in the interest of the target groups and with the potential for subsequent multiplication in other settlements. To ensure the implementation of the demonstration project, the applicant envisages the implementation of the works and the delivery of assets (composers and vessels for its successful collection). An information campaign will be conducted to promote the results of the project and to stimulate a change in the behaviour of people in order to form a society with zero waste. For the successful implementation of the project, the applicant has provided realistic planning of the whole project cycle, a balanced distribution of activities over time, linking them to the objectives set, which ensures the achievement of the expected results. The project will implement the following activities:1) Preparation2) Implementation of a demonstration project for municipal waste management in the municipality of Pirdop3) Conducting a campaign to promote project results (4) Organisation and project management as a result of the implementation of the project is expected to prevent the generation of 276 tonnes of municipal waste, as well as to separately collect 178 tonnes of municipal waste per year. The implementation of the demonstration project will involve 4400 persons who will benefit directly from the results achieved by the implemented measures. С настоящото проектно предложение община Пирдоп ще изпълни демонстрационен проект насочен към устойчиво управление на битовите отпадъци на своята територия.Дейностите предвидени в проекта включват третиране само на битови отпадъци, генерирани на територията на община Пирдоп.Демонстрационния проект ще бъде насочен към прилагане на мерки по предотвратяване образуването на битови отпадъци и разделно събиране на битови отпадъци.За изпълнението на демонстрационния проект кандидата е идентифицирал успешно приложени на други места добри практики в областта на управлението на битови отпадъци, които са в интерес на целевите групи и с потенциал за последващо мултиплициране в други населени места.За обезпечаване изпълнението на демонстрационния проект, кандидата предвижда изпълнение на СМР и доставка на активи (компостери и съдове за разделно събиране), които ще подпомогнат успешната му реализация. Ще се проведе информационна кампания която да популяризира резултатите от проекта и да стимулира промяна в поведението на хората с цел формиране на общество с нулеви отпадъци.За успешното изпълнение на проекта кандидата е предвидил реалистично планиране на целия проектен цикъл, балансирано разпределение на дейностите във времето, обвързването им със заложените цели, което гарантира постигане на очакваните резултати. В рамките на проекта ще се изпълнят следните дейности:1) Подготовка2) Изпълнение на демонстрационен проект за управление на битовите отпадъци в община Пирдоп3) Провеждане на кампания за популяризиране на резултатите от проекта4) Организация и управление на проектаВ резултат на изпълнението на проекта се очаква да бъде предотвратено образуването на 276 тона битови отпадъци, както и да бъдат разделно събрани 178 тона битови отпадъци годишно.Реализирането на демонстрационния проект ще обхване 4400 лица, които ще се възползват пряко от резултатите постигнати от изпълнените мерки.
