The project aims at improving the energy efficiency of a building of the Border Police Station — Krumovgrad. The present building is designed for an administrative building of the Krumovgrad GMP. The energy efficiency measures in the intervention building will be implemented on the basis of an energy efficiency audit accompanied by a valid energy performance certificate for the building and an audit to establish the technical characteristics of the building with a technical passport. At the stage of implementation of the project proposal, an investment project will be prepared in accordance with the Spatial Planning Act and Ordinance 4 of 2001 on the scope and content of investment projects. The investment project will include all mandatory energy saving measures prescribed in the energy efficiency audit, including measures for the utilisation of renewable energy sources and all mandatory measures prescribed in the technical audit. Energy renovation activities will prolong the life of the building, reduce maintenance costs and encourage people to stay in small settlements. Their implementation will increase the energy efficiency of the municipality building, reduce electricity costs, leading to the release of resources to be redirected to other activities. Improving the energy efficiency of the building is one of the main prerequisites for improving the quality of the services offered to the local population, reducing energy consumption and protecting the environment. Проектът има за цел повишаване на енергийната ефективност на сграда на Гранично полицейско управление - Крумовград. Настоящата сграда е с предназначение за административна сграда на ГПУ - Крумовград. Мерките за енергийна ефективност в сградата, обект на интервенция ще се изпълняват въз основа на извършено обследване за енергийна ефективност, придружено от валиден сертификат за енергийни характеристики на сградата, и обследване за установяване на техническите характеристики на сградата с изготвен технически паспорт. На етап реализация на проектното предложение ще бъде изработен инвестиционен проект, съгласно Закона за устройство на територията и Наредба 4 от 2001 г. за обхвата и съдържанието на инвестиционните проекти. В инвестиционния проект ще бъдат включени всички задължителни енергоспестяващи мерки, предписани в обследването за енергийна ефективност, в т.ч. мерки за оползотворяване на възобновяеми енергийни източници и всички задължителни мерки, предписани в техническото обследване. Дейностите за енергийно обновяване ще удължат живота на сградата, ще намалят разходите за поддръжка и ще стимулират хората да останат да живеят в малките населени места. В резултат от изпълнението им ще се повиши енергийната ефективност на сградата на общината, ще бъдат намалени разходите за електроенергия, което ще доведе до освобождаване на ресурси, които да бъдат пренасочени за други дейности. Подобряването на енергийната ефективност на сградата е една от основните предпоставки за повишаване качеството на предлаганите услуги на местното население, намаляване на енергийното потребление и опазване на околната среда.
