Hankkeen tavoitteena on uutta teknologiaan hyödyntämällä tehostaa yrityksen tuotantoa ja monipuolistaa yrityksen palvelutarjoamaa, ja siten mahdollistaa tulevaisuudessa kilpailukykyinen ja kannattava toiminnan kasvu. Toimenpiteiden tuloksena myös käytetyn energian ja materiaalin määrät pienenevät (tuotekohtainen sähkönkulutuksen lasku jopa 76%), mikä vastaavasti pienentää hyödykkeiden tuotantoon tarvittavien luonnonvarojen käyttöä ja kasvihuonekaasujen tuotantoa. Lisäksi paikallinen elinkeinorakenne hyötyy monipuolistuvista ja korkeatasoisista palveluista sekä ympäristöä säästävistä lyhyistä kuljetusmatkoista. Henkilötasolla työergonomia parantuu sekä tuki- ja liikuntaelinten rasitus ja kuormitus vähenevät. Tämä mahdollistaa paremmin naisten työskentelemisen tuotannossa. (Finnish)
