The aim of the project is to create a permanent operating model for Satakunta, which will allow the identification of unexploited industrial side streams and symbiosis potentials, as well as the promotion of new openings of the environmental business and their practical implementation. The measures include mappings, surveys, company negotiations and workshops. As a purchasing service, cost, method, laboratory and suitability studies will be carried out for the most economically promising blanks. The project will result in new demonstration and pilot projects aimed at products, materials and solutions that promote low carbon and circular economy, as well as their commercialisation and deployment. Compared to individual pilot projects, the benefits of this approach relate to feedback and learning from others. Demo/pilot design will be integrated into national networks of circular economy and industrial symbiosis and will be used as case examples for project events, ensuring equal opportunities for network members to learn and benefit and expand the network. Hankkeen tavoitteena on synnyttää Satakuntaan pysyvä toimintamalli, jonka avulla voidaan tunnistaa hyödyntämättömiä teollisia sivuvirtoja ja symbioosipotentiaaleja sekä edistää ympäristöliiketoiminnan uusia avauksia ja niiden käytännön toteutusta. Toimenpiteet sisältävät kartoituksia, selvityksiä, yritysneuvotteluja ja työpajatyöskentelyä. Taloudellisesti lupaavimmille aihioille tehdään ostopalveluna kustannus-, menetelmä-, laboratorio- ja soveltuvuusselvityksiä.Hankkeen tuloksena syntyy uusia demonstraatio- ja pilotointiaihiota, joiden kohteena ovat vähähiilisyyttä ja kiertotaloutta edistävät tuotteet, materiaalit ja ratkaisut sekä niiden kaupallistaminen ja käyttöönotto. Yksittäisiin pilottihankkeisiin verrattuna tämän toimintamallin edut liittyvät takaisinkytkentään ja toisilta oppimiseen. Demojen/pilottien suunnittelu kytketään osaksi kansallisia kiertotalouden ja teollisten symbioosien verkostoja ja niitä käytetään hankkeen tilaisuuksissa case-esimerkkeinä, mikä varmistaa verkoston jäsenille tasapuoliset oppimisen ja hyötymisen mahdollisuudet ja verkoston laajenemisen.
