The aim of the cockpit is to help and support young people’s transitions to work and the services that promote it. The first objective is to create a low-threshold service point on the one-stop-shop principle. The network of experts will be concentrated in one place and the young person will be on the path towards employment. As output, a young person receives a service from the same service point and access to the measures is accelerated. Another objective is to direct the young person to the right service on the basis of an individual service needs assessment. A young person is confronted as an individual. As a result, the young person receives the core service and support services he/she needs. The third objective is to offer young people a wide and flexible range of services. Young people are offered the right things at the right time. As a result, the young person’s use of diverse services is supported by the successful employment pilot projects of previous years in Satakunta, as well as by the regional experiment of employment and business services starting in Pori at the same time as the Ohjaamo project. The objectives of the project are in line with the Satakunta Provincial Programme 2014-2017 and the municipal employment programmes. As a result of the project, a permanent model of guidance will be created in Satakunta. Ohjaamo on paikka, joka tarjoaa kaikille nuorille palveluja matalan kynnyksen periaatteella. Ohjaamon tavoitteena on auttaa ja tukea nuorten siirtymiä työelämään ja sitä edistävien palveluiden piiriin. Erityisen huomion saavat nuoret, jotka ovat vailla työtä ja toimeentuloa tai eivät opiskele.Ohjaamossa nuori kohtaa useita eri alojen asiantuntijoita. Häntä ei siirrellä viranomaiselta toiselle vaan hänestä ja hänen asioistaan otetaan vastuu. Taustalla on palvelun tarjoajien moniammatillinen ja poikkitieteellinen yhteistyö sekä osaaminen.Satakunnan Ohjaamolla (Pori, Rauma, Pomarkku, Eura) on kolme tavoitetta. Ensimmäisenä tavoitteena on luoda matalan kynnyksen palvelupiste yhden luukun periaatteella. Asiantuntijaverkosto keskitetään yhteen paikkaan ja nuori polutetaan kohti työllistymistä. Tuotoksena nuori saa palvelua samasta palvelupisteestä ja toimenpiteisiin pääsy nopeutuu.Toisena tavoitteena on ohjata nuori oikeaan palveluun yksilöllisen palvelutarvearvioinnin perusteella. Nuori kohdataan yksilönä. Tuotoksena nuori saa juuri hänen tarvitsemansa ydinpalvelun sekä tukipalvelut. Kolmantena tavoitteena on tarjota nuorelle laaja-alainen ja joustava palveluvalikoima. Nuorelle tarjotaan oikeita asioita oikeaan aikaan. Tuotoksena nuoren käytössä on monipuoliset palvelut.Ohjaamon toimintaa tukevat aikaisempien vuosien onnistuneet työllisyyden pilottihankkeet Satakunnassa sekä Ohjaamo-hankkeen kanssa samaan aikaan Porissa alkava työvoima- ja yrityspalveluiden alueellinen kokeilu. Hankkeen tavoitteet ovat linjassa Satakunnan maakuntaohjelman 2014-2017 sekä kuntien työllisyysohjelmien kanssa. Hankkeen tuloksena Satakuntaan luodaan pysyvä ohjauksen toimintamalli.
