The Hippa-Remote project is carried out as three independent, but interlinked, projects of the same name, which cross the major borders of three provinces: Central Ostrobothnia (Centria), Pirkanmaa (TAMK) and Uusimaa (Metropolia). The Hippa-Remote project responds to the need to develop digitalisation in companies, the public sector and the third sector, especially from the point of view of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an exceptional opportunity to re-evaluate many of the perceived immutable practices, as well as to further refine and introduce the new policies adopted during the crisis on a more permanent basis. In the social and social services sector, especially in the area of home and service housing, acute needs have been identified for new technology-based product and service solutions. The project develops and tests user-driven remote and hybrid development applications and services in the development of new and innovative digital products and services in the social sector and in healthcare home and service housing. Distance implementation will improve equal access for companies and experts to support services regardless of their geographical location, thus contributing to the cost-effectiveness, quality and accessibility of product development. The project also improves the growth and development potential of companies’ business and know-how in the health and social services sector in terms of commercialisation, marketing, regulations and factors affecting procurement processes, thereby creating new business opportunities for companies in different sectors related to the digitalisation of social and health care. The aim of the project is to: 1. Support user-driven, health-safe and resource-wise product development of social and health care enterprises and service providers through remote and hybrid development services.2. Create new business opportunities for companies in different sectors in the context of the digitalisation of the social and health sector3. Develop digital development environments for higher education institutions, such as simulation and virtual environments and virtual technologies to support the digitalisation and product development of companies and service providers, and enable rapid experimentation and testing of products and services developed by companies.4. Support companies and social services providers to jointly develop digital products and services to improve the safety of service and home living, accessibility, social communication, maintenance of the occupant’s functional capacity, as well as the accessibility and cost-effectiveness of services. 5. Improve the growth and development potential of companies’ business and know-how in the health and social services sector in terms of commercialisation and marketing, sustainable development and green growth, new business models, regulations and factors affecting procurement processes. As a result of the project, private and public actors that produce and develop digital health products and services will network and have access to remote and hybrid product development services for regulation and digital skills, from generic customer stories describing the development needs of home and service housing in the EU to develop, test and validate innovative and user-driven new digital products and services. User- and needs-oriented development service concept and model for the development of smart home and service housing products and services. Virtual environments of higher education institutions for remote co-development and testing of home and service housing products and services. New skills related to the regulation of social and health products and services to be developed as a remote and hybrid sparring and to the digital HTA assessment for the commercialisation and placing on the market of products. Access to users and environments of products and services, to participate in multidisciplinary co-development, to test products and services in a variety of environments, and to receive remote sparring in the commercialisation of the product and service. Hankkeen tavoitteena on: 1.
