The strategic objective of the project is to improve the natural environment and to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality and of the town of Ruwidk above Sanem. The project is being carried out in connection with the extension of the sewage treatment plant over Sanem with the installations and equipment required, as well as the extension of the sewerage network. The project provides for the construction and technological work of a mechanical and biological waste water treatment plant with simultaneous phosphorus removal, working in a pre-denitrification system. The waste water treatment plant will be equipped with a system of levelling the extra-regulatory flow of wastewater, e.g. in the course of precipitation. In addition, the installation of RES installations for the production of electricity for the operation and operation of the sewage treatment plant is envisaged. In addition, an essential element of the project is the extension of the sewage system in the area of the Ruwidnik Town and City Council over Sanem (in the area of the Ruwidnik agglomeration over Sanem) to gravity sewers with a length of 685 m, a press sewer of 307 m with wells of 25, and the construction of a pumping station with a diameter of 1 500 cm and a height of 4 600 cm. Celem strategicznym projektu jest poprawa stanu środowiska naturalnego i podniesienie jakości życia mieszkańców na obszarze Gminy i Miasta Rudnik nad Sanem. Przedmiotem podejmowanego projektu jest przebudowa z rozbudową oczyszczalni ścieków w Rudniku nad Sanem wraz z wymaganymi instalacjami i urządzeniami, a także rozbudowa sieci kanalizacji sanitarnej. W ramach projektu przewiduje się prace budowlane i technologiczne w zakresie mechaniczno-biologicznej oczyszczalni ścieków z symultanicznym wspomaganiem usuwania fosforu, pracującej w układzie denitryfikacji wstępnej. Oczyszczalnia ścieków wyposażona zostanie w układ niwelacji ponadnormatywnego napływu ścieków np. w trakcie trwania opadów atmosferycznych. Ponadto przewiduje się montaż instalacji OZE do produkcji energii elektrycznej na potrzeby działania i funkcjonowania oczyszczalni ścieków . Dodatkowo niezbędnym elementem projektu jest rozbudowa działającej sieci kanalizacyjnej na terenie Gminy i Miasta Rudnik nad Sanem (w obszarze aglomeracji Rudnik nad Sanem) o kanalizację grawitacyjną o długości 685 m, kanalizację tłoczną 307 m wraz ze studzienkami 25 szt. oraz budowę przepompowni o średnicy 1500 cm i wysokości 4600 cm.
