L’objectif général du FHU-CARTAGE « Cardiac and Arterial Ageing » est d’intégrer pleinement le concept du « processus du vieillissement » pour élaborer des stratégies innovantes personnalisées pour la surveillance, le traitement et surtout la prévention de maladies cardiovasculaires dont la fréquence augmente régulièrement à partir d’un âge de 60 à 70 ans (insuffisance cardiaque, hypertension, accident vasculaire cérébral…). The general objective of the FHU-Cartage “Cardiac and Arterial Ageing” is to fully integrate the concept of the “aging process” to develop innovative personalised strategies for the surveillance, treatment and especially prevention of cardiovascular diseases whose frequency increases steadily from the age of 60 to 70 years (heart failure, hypertension, stroke, etc.).
