L'augmentation de la fréquentation de la gare de Don-Sainghin a entraîné une saturation endémique des aménagements réalisés par la MEL et plus généralement des espaces publics à proximité. C'est dans ce contexte que l'extension du pôle d'échange multimodale de la gare de Don/Sainghin a été décidé. Cette première phase d'extension sera réalisée sur une partie du parc relais existant. Les travaux envisagés concernent d'une part la construction d'un parking en superstructure légère, et d'autre part la réorganisation des places de stationnement au sol suite à la suppression des noues sous l'emprise de la nouvelle construction. The increase in attendance at Don-Sainghin station has resulted in an endemic saturation of the facilities carried out by the MEL and, more generally, of public spaces nearby. It was in this context that the extension of the multimodal exchange hub of Don/Sainghin station was decided. This first phase of extension will be carried out on part of the existing relay park. The planned works concern, on the one hand, the construction of a light superstructure car park and, on the other hand, the reorganisation of the parking spaces on the ground following the removal of the knots under the influence of the new construction.
