    L'objectif du projet Cavalbio est de contribuer au développement d'une agriculture durable en Guadeloupe, et plus largement dans les Antilles Françaises en s'appuyany sur des recherches cognitives et méthodologiques pouvant favoriser l'émergence de solutions variétales répondant aux principales contraintes des filières ignames et agrumes. Pour les ignames l'adaptation à des systèmes de production "bas intrants", la résistance à l'anthracnose, la qualité et la productivité sont les cibles majeures. Pour les agrumes l'adaptation aux contraintes biotiques et en particulier au HLB sont des objectifs centraux tout en cherchant à améliorer la qualité des produits et l'étalement des productions (French)

    The objective of the Cavalbio project is to contribute to the development of sustainable agriculture in Guadeloupe, and more broadly in the French Antilles, based on cognitive and methodological research that can promote the emergence of varietal solutions responding to the main constraints of the yam and citrus sectors. For yams adaptation to low input production systems, resistance to anthracnose, quality and productivity are the main targets. For citrus fruits adaptation to biotic constraints and in particular to HLB are central objectives while seeking to improve product quality and spread of productions (English)
